DANCE
Is my PASSION, something I try to do everyday. I don't need a dance floor or a big space. All i need is the music in my head and fire in my soul, then I can dance.
Born Acrobat
Since I was little I have always done cartwheels and try to do handstands. My cousins would always try to help me but it would never work. However, I was very determined to be the best. when the Olympics came on i would always search for the gymnastics, especially the floor routines. I was so fascinated by all the flexibility and the strength these females had. I wanted to be just like them. So I worked hard on my cartwheels for years and perfected it to the point no one I knew was better then me.
I remember this one moment In grade five when my school had a talent show and this girl who was in my grade did a dance solo and in this routine it included cartwheels, back walkovers, front walkovers, and splits. I was so amazed that I was jealous. i said to myself that I was going to be just as good or even better. So I practiced and asked my mom to put me in dance class which she did and I also started gymnastics but realized it was not for me. Acrobatics was what I wanted to do. I joined the gymnastics club in middle school for three years and i became one of the best gymnast there.
In high school I ended up going to competitions for acrobatics and jazz winning gold, platinum, high silver, and silver. Having the best time of my life. I also joined the cheerleading team which was a thrill especially when I did it with my best friends :). And this year I finally showed my peers my dancing side. I always told people i dance but i never showed them but this year my last year I did at the talent show. It wasn't my best dancing but it was still an amazing performance which was choreographed by one of my close friends Tomesha Forrester and performed by Baby Darien who is a really good dancer and a great singer<3 and I.
I also performed at my friend Joeselle's Debut (18th Birthday) which was really great. Honestly I Love to dance and I am going to keep on dancing until a cannot walk anymore.
